Polartec® Hooded Hockey Jersey

The Supreme Polartec Hooded Hockey Jersey is built from Polartec 200 fleece with tackle twill applique at the sleeves and back. Buy it if you want genuine technical fleece rather than a fashion brand's approximation of one.

Polartec 200 is a mid-weight technical fleece made by Polartec, the company that invented the material in the 1980s. It insulates for its weight, dries fast and does not pill the way cheap fleece does. On seam hand pockets at the lower front, embroidered logo at the collar, athletic label at the hem.

The applique work is tackle twill, meaning stitched fabric panels rather than printed graphics, which is how hockey and varsity garments have always been made. It outlasts the garment.

This is a genuinely warm piece, not a decorative one. It works as outerwear in mild weather and as a mid-layer in cold, and the hockey jersey cut runs roomy enough to layer under.
