The Jordan 11 Retro Bred Velvet swaps the model's signature ballistic mesh for velvet, in the black and red Bred palette. Buy it if you want the most recognisable Jordan 11 colourway in a material the model almost never uses.

The Jordan 11 is the most technically built shoe in the line. Patent leather wraps the lower upper as a structural mudguard, there is a carbon fibre spring plate in the sole, full-length Air underfoot and a translucent rubber outsole. Velvet replaces the mesh across the upper here, which gives a softer surface and a completely different look under light.

This is a women's-led release, so the size run is small. It suits people who want a Bred 11 that reads as luxe rather than athletic, and collectors who want the material variant.

Material swaps on the 11 are rare and never repeat. Velvet in particular has only appeared on the model a handful of times.
