The Jordan 5 Retro OG Black Metallic Reimagined is the original 1990 Black Metallic colourway rebuilt with aged detailing, a yellowed midsole and softened tones. Buy it if you want the most historically important Jordan 5 in a version that looks like it survived thirty years.

Nubuck upper, reflective 3M tongue, translucent rubber outsole and the sharkstooth teeth painted along the midsole, all from Tinker Hatfield's original design. Reimagined releases deliberately age the midsole and mute the metallic, which is why they read vintage rather than factory fresh.

Black Metallic is where the Jordan 5 started. Everything else in the model is a variation on this pair, which is the argument for owning it over a newer colourway.

At $500 this is the most expensive shoe in our catalog. Reimagined OG releases carry a premium over standard retros because the detailing work is more involved and the runs are smaller.
