The Jordan 5 Retro Golden Ticket is a themed release borrowing Willy Wonka imagery, with gold detailing across a dark upper. Buy it if you want a Jordan 5 that most people will not have seen.
Nubuck upper with the reflective 3M tongue, translucent outsole and the sharkstooth teeth along the midsole. Themed releases carry additional detailing on the tongue, insole or heel beyond the base colour blocking, which is usually where the reference lives.
This is a collector pair rather than a rotation staple. Gold accents on a dark base do wear fine against black, grey and denim, but people buy this one for the concept.
At $280 it is one of the cheaper Jordan 5s we carry, well below the $450 and $500 that Wolf Grey and Black Metallic Reimagined command. Themed pairs outside the classic colour families are where the value is.
