Marvel x Bapesta

The Marvel x BAPE STA is a collaboration pairing A Bathing Ape's patent leather sneaker with Marvel character artwork. Buy it if you want a BAPE STA with a licensed graphic rather than a plain colourway.

Patent leather upper with the STARS panel in place of a Swoosh, over a chunky cupsole. Collaboration pairs typically carry additional printing or embroidery across the panels, insole and heel beyond the base colour.

This is a collector shoe. Licensed collaborations sit at the intersection of two fanbases, which makes them harder to find later than a standard colourway even when they were not especially hyped at release.

BAPE produces in small numbers through its own retail channels rather than through mass distribution, and licensed pairs are made once. There is no reissue path for a collab like this.
